Dear Lord, please help me to resist the temptation to boast about my own desires and cravings. Instead, may I seek to bless others and honor you in all that I do. Please forgive me for any times when I have been greedy or selfish, and help me to turn away from those tendencies. May I always speak words of praise and thanksgiving for your goodness and mercy. Amen.

Verse: For the wicked boasts of his heart’s cravings. He blesses the greedy and condemns Yahweh.
Psalms 10:3

This is a Command. The verse is warning the reader not to be like the wicked who boast of their sinful desires and praise greed while condemning God. The command is to avoid such behavior and instead honor God.
