Dear God, please help me to resist the temptation of greed and the desire for material gain. I pray that I may always prioritize the value of life and relationships over material possessions. May I never fall victim to the destructive nature of greed and may I always seek to live a life of generosity and compassion towards others. Amen.

Verse: So are the ways of everyone who is greedy for gain. It takes away the life of its owners.
Proverbs 1:19
