Dear God, please help me to guard my mouth and my tongue so that I may keep my soul from troubles. Give me the wisdom to know when to speak and when to remain silent. Help me to use my words to uplift and encourage others, and to refrain from speaking words that may cause harm or pain. May my speech always be pleasing to you and bring glory to your name. Amen.
