Dear God, please help me to be thoughtful and intentional in my commitments. May I not make hasty promises that I cannot keep or that do not align with your will for my life. Give me the wisdom to consider my vows before making them, and the strength to follow through on them with integrity. Protect me from the snares of rash dedication and guide me in all my decisions. Amen.

Verse: It is a snare to a man to make a rash dedication, then later to consider his vows.
Proverbs 20:25
