Prayer based on Proverbs 19:21. Themes: Providence, Sovereignty, Trust

Dear Yahweh, I come before you today with a heart full of plans and desires. I know that I am limited in my understanding and that my plans may not always align with your will. But I take comfort in the promise that your counsel will prevail. I trust in your wisdom and guidance, and I ask that you lead me in the direction that you have planned for me. Help me to surrender my plans to you and to trust in your perfect will for my life. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise that your counsel will always prevail. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail.
Proverbs 19:21

This is a Promise. The verse is assuring the reader that despite their own plans and desires, God’s counsel and will ultimately prevail.
