Prayer based on Proverbs 17:21. Themes: Parenting, Wisdom, Sorrow
Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that you have given us in Proverbs 17:21. I pray that you would guide me in my role as a parent, that I may not become the father of a fool. Help me to raise my children in your ways, that they may grow up to be wise and discerning. I claim the promise that if I do this, I will not grieve, and I will have joy as a parent. Thank you for your guidance and wisdom in this important task. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: He who becomes the father of a fool grieves. The father of a fool has no joy.
Proverbs 17:21
