Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise in Proverbs 17:2. I pray that you would grant me wisdom as I serve you and those around me. May I be a faithful and wise servant who brings honor to your name. I trust that as I deal wisely, you will exalt me and give me authority over those who bring shame. I claim the promise that I will have a part in the inheritance among the brothers. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the assurance that you will reward those who seek to honor you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
