Dear God, please help me not to be like a horse or a mule that lacks understanding and needs to be controlled by bit and bridle. Instead, may I have the wisdom to discern your will and the willingness to follow it without hesitation. Please draw me near to you and guide me on the path of righteousness. Amen.

Verse: Don’t be like the horse, or like the mule, which have no understanding, who are controlled by bit and bridle, or else they will not come near to you.
Psalms 32:9
