Dear Lord, please help me to be wise and humble enough to accept correction from my father and others who care for me. May I not be foolish and despise their guidance, but instead, may I have the prudence to heed their reproof and learn from it. Guide me to be open to constructive criticism and use it to grow and become a better person. Thank you for the people in my life who love me enough to correct me. Amen.

Verse: A fool despises his father’s correction, but he who heeds reproof shows prudence.
Proverbs 15:5
