Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that joy comes to a man with the reply of his mouth. I pray that you would help me to always speak words of encouragement, love, and truth. May my words bring joy to those around me and may they be a source of comfort and hope to those who are hurting. I also pray that you would give me the wisdom to know when to speak and when to remain silent. Help me to always speak at the right time and in the right way. Thank you for the power of words and for the promise that they can bring joy to our lives. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
