Prayer based on Luke 11:8. Themes: Persistence, Friendship, Provision.
Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that even though my friend may not rise and give me what I need, because of my persistence, I will receive as many as I need. I claim this promise today and ask for your help to persist in prayer and faith. I trust that you will provide for all my needs according to your riches in glory. Thank you for your faithfulness and love. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: I tell you, although he will not rise and give it to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence, he will get up and give him as many as he needs.
Luke 11:8
This is a Promise. The verse is saying that if someone persists in asking for something, even if the person they are asking is not their friend, they will eventually receive what they need.
