Praying from Matthew 8:20 relating to Homelessness, Sacrifice, Humility.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank you for reminding me that you are the Son of Man who had nowhere to lay your head. I claim the promise that you will provide for me and meet all my needs according to your riches in glory. Just as the foxes have holes and the birds of the sky have nests, I trust that you will provide a place for me to rest my head and call home. I surrender all my worries and anxieties to you, knowing that you are faithful and true to your promises. Thank you for being my provider and my refuge.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: Jesus said to him,“The foxes have holes and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”
Matthew 8:20

This is a Promise. The verse is a statement by Jesus about his own situation, indicating that he does not have a permanent home or place to rest.
