Dear God, please help me to remember that I should not swear by my head, for I cannot control the color of even one hair. Help me to trust in your power and wisdom, and to rely on your guidance in all things. May I always seek to honor you in my words and actions, and to live a life that reflects your love and grace. Amen.

Verse: Neither shall you swear by your head, for you can’t make one hair white or black.
