Praying from Matthew 6:1 relating to Humility, Rewards, God’s Approval.
Dear Heavenly Father, please guide me in my charitable giving so that I do not do it for the sake of being seen by others. Help me to give with a pure heart and with the intention of pleasing you, rather than seeking recognition from others. May my giving be a reflection of your love and grace, and may it bring glory to your name. Thank you for the blessings you have bestowed upon me, and may I use them to bless others in need. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: “Be careful that you don’t do your charitable giving before men, to be seen by them, or else you have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 6:1
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to be careful not to do charitable giving before men to be seen by them, or else they will have no reward from their Father in heaven.
