Heavenly Father, I come before you today claiming the promise that we need not be afraid, for you are with us always. Just as the angel answered the women who sought Jesus, I too seek him in my life. I know that he was crucified for my sins, and I am grateful for the sacrifice he made. Help me to always remember this promise and to trust in your love and protection. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: The angel answered the women, “Don’t be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified.
Matthew 28:5

This is a Promise. The angel reassures the women not to be afraid and acknowledges that they are seeking Jesus, who has been crucified.
