Praying from Matthew 17:9. Themes: Secrecy, Resurrection.
Dear Lord Jesus, as we come down from the mountain of your presence, we pray that you would help us to keep the vision of your glory and power in our hearts. We ask for the strength to resist the temptation to share it with others until the appointed time, when you have risen from the dead. May we be faithful to your command and trust in your perfect timing. Thank you for revealing yourself to us and for the hope we have in your resurrection. In your holy name we pray, Amen.
Verse: As they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying,“Don’t tell anyone what you saw, until the Son of Man has risen from the dead.”

This is a Command. The command is for the disciples to not tell anyone what they saw until after the Son of Man has risen from the dead.
