Dear Lord, I come to you today with a heavy heart and a burdened soul. But I am reminded of your promise that your yoke is easy and your burden is light. I claim this promise over my life today and ask that you would help me to lay down my burdens at your feet. Help me to trust in your goodness and your faithfulness, knowing that you are always with me and that you will never leave me nor forsake me. Thank you for your love and your grace, and for the peace that comes from knowing that I am in your hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
