Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that whoever gives a cup of water to drink in your name because we belong to Christ will not lose their reward. I claim this promise today and ask that you help me to be mindful of opportunities to serve others in your name. May my actions bring glory to you and may I never lose sight of the eternal reward that awaits those who serve you faithfully. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: For whoever will give you a cup of water to drink in my name because you are Christ’s, most certainly I tell you, he will in no way lose his reward.
