Father God, I thank you for the promise that as a woman who has a husband, I am bound by law to him while he lives. But I also claim the promise that if my husband dies, I am discharged from the law of the husband. I trust in your faithfulness and provision, knowing that you will always be with me and guide me through every season of life. Thank you for your love and grace that sustains me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: For the woman that has a husband is bound by law to the husband while he lives, but if the husband dies, she is discharged from the law of the husband.

This is a Promise. The verse states that if a woman’s husband dies, she is no longer bound by the law of the husband.
