Dear Lord, we thank you for the wisdom and guidance of Moses. Help us to honor our parents as you have commanded, and to speak well of them always. May we never speak evil of our fathers or mothers, and may we always show them the respect and love they deserve. We pray for forgiveness for any times we have failed to honor our parents, and ask for your strength and grace to do better in the future. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
Verse: For Moses said, ‘ Honor your father and your mother;’ and, ‘ He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.’
