Prayer based on Luke 8:52. Themes: Hope, Faith, Resurrection.
Dear Lord,
As I face the trials and challenges of this life, I am often filled with sorrow and despair. But I am reminded of the promise you made to us through your son, Jesus Christ. Just as he spoke to the mourners at the tomb of Lazarus, he speaks to me now, saying, “Don’t weep. She isn’t dead, but sleeping.”
I claim this promise for myself, knowing that even in the darkest moments, you are with me. You have the power to bring life where there is death, hope where there is despair, and joy where there is sorrow. Help me to trust in your promises and to have faith that you will always be with me, no matter what.
Thank you for your love and grace, and for the hope that you give us through your son, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Verse: All were weeping and mourning her, but he said,“Don’t weep. She isn’t dead, but sleeping.”

This is a Promise. The promise is that the woman is not dead, but sleeping.
