Dear Lord Jesus, we come before you today with grateful hearts for your teachings and guidance. As we reflect on your words, we ask for your wisdom and understanding. Help us to discern what is right and just, especially when it comes to doing good on the Sabbath. May we always choose to save a life and never harm or kill. We pray for your grace and strength to follow your example of love and compassion. Amen.

Verse: Then Jesus said to them,“I will ask you something: Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good, or to do harm? To save a life, or to kill?”
Luke 6:9
