Dear Lord, please protect us from those who oppose and exalt themselves against you. Help us to recognize those who set themselves up as gods and lead us astray. May we always worship you alone and never be deceived by false idols. Keep us strong in our faith and guide us to your temple, where we can find refuge and peace in your presence. Amen.

Verse: He opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.
2 Thessalonians 2:4
