Dear Lord Jesus, as I come before you today, I claim the promise that you will stand among us and bring peace to our hearts. Just as you appeared to your disciples and spoke these words of comfort, I pray that you will also speak peace into my life. May your presence fill me with hope and assurance, knowing that you are always with me. Thank you for your unfailing love and for the promise of your peace. In your precious name, I pray. Amen.
