Prayer based on Luke 2:26. Themes: Revelation, Salvation, Prophecy

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving. Thank you for the promise that you have given to us through your Holy Spirit, that we shall not see death before we have seen the Lord’s Christ.

I claim this promise today, Lord, and I ask that you would reveal your Son to me in a new and powerful way. Help me to see him with fresh eyes, to know him more intimately, and to experience his love and grace in a deeper way than ever before.

I trust in your faithfulness, Lord, and I know that you will keep your promise to me. Help me to live each day with the assurance that I will see your Son, and to share this hope with others who need to know your love.

Thank you for your grace and mercy, Lord, and for the promise of eternal life through your Son, Jesus Christ. I pray all these things in his holy name.

Amen.
