Dear God, help me to remember that greatness is not found in power or authority, but in humility and service. May I always strive to become more like the younger, putting the needs of others before my own. And may those who are in positions of leadership and governance be reminded to serve with compassion and selflessness. Guide us all to follow the example of Jesus, who came not to be served, but to serve. Amen.

Verse: But not so with you. Rather, the one who is greater among you, let him become as the younger, and one who is governing, as one who serves.
Luke 22:26

This is a Command. The verse instructs the reader to become like the younger and to serve others, even if they hold a position of authority.
