Dear Lord, please help me to be careful and vigilant so that my heart is not weighed down by the distractions and temptations of this world. Protect me from the lure of carousing and drunkenness, and help me to prioritize the things that truly matter in life. May I always be prepared for the day when you will come again, and may I live each day with a heart full of faith and devotion to you. Amen.

Verse: “So be careful, or your hearts will be loaded down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day will come on you suddenly.
Luke 21:34
