Father God, I come before you today claiming the promise that you are with us in times of great distress and wrath. I pray for all the pregnant women and nursing mothers in our midst, that you would protect them and their little ones from harm. May they find comfort and strength in your presence, knowing that you are their refuge and strength. Help us to trust in your unfailing love and mercy, even in the midst of chaos and uncertainty. We thank you for your promise to never leave us or forsake us, and we claim that promise today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who nurse infants in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath to this people.
