Dear Lord, I claim the promise that when calamity overtakes me like a storm, when disaster comes on like a whirlwind, and when distress and anguish come upon me, you will be my refuge and strength. I trust in your unfailing love and your promise to never leave me nor forsake me. Help me to cling to you in the midst of trials and to find peace in your presence. Thank you for being my rock and my salvation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
