Praying from Luke 21:12. Themes: Persecution, End Times, Witnessing
Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you have given us in Luke 21:12-13. I know that before all things, I may face persecution and be delivered up to synagogues and prisons, and even brought before kings and governors for your name’s sake. But I trust in your promise that you will be with me through it all. You will give me the strength and courage to stand firm in my faith and to proclaim your name boldly. Thank you for your promise of protection and guidance. I pray that I may always remain faithful to you, no matter what trials may come my way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and will persecute you, delivering you up to synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for my name’s sake.
Luke 21:12
This is a Promise. The verse is a warning from Jesus to his disciples that they will face persecution and be brought before authorities for their faith.
