Prayer based on Luke 18:5. Themes: Persistence, Prayer, Justice.
Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that you have given us in Luke 18:5. Just as the unjust judge defended the widow because of her persistence, I know that you will defend me when I come to you with my needs and desires. I thank you for your faithfulness and for always being there for me, even when I feel like giving up. Help me to trust in your promises and to continue to come to you with a persistent heart. I know that you will never wear me out, but instead, you will strengthen me and give me the courage to keep going. Thank you for your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: yet because this widow bothers me, I will defend her, or else she will wear me out by her continual coming.’”
