Prayer based on Luke 16:16. Themes: Kingdom, Good News, Law

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the promise that the Good News of your Kingdom is being preached and that everyone is forcing their way into it. I claim this promise for myself and for those around me. May we all have a hunger and thirst for your Kingdom and may we be willing to do whatever it takes to enter into it.

Thank you for the sacrifice of your Son, Jesus Christ, who made it possible for us to have access to your Kingdom. May we never take this gift for granted and may we always strive to live according to your will.

Help us to be bold in sharing the Good News with others and may we be a light in this world, pointing others towards your Kingdom. We trust in your faithfulness and know that you will fulfill this promise in our lives.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that since the time of John the Baptist, the Good News of God’s Kingdom is being preached and people are eagerly accepting it.
