Prayer based on Luke 10:23. Themes: Blessing, Discipleship, Gratitude.

Dear Lord,

As I turn to you in prayer, I am reminded of the promise you made to your disciples. You said, “Blessed are the eyes which see the things that you see.” I claim this promise today, Lord, and I thank you for allowing me to see the wonders of your creation and the blessings you have bestowed upon me.

May my eyes always be open to your presence in my life, and may I never take for granted the blessings you have given me. Help me to see the world through your eyes, and to always be grateful for the many gifts you have given me.

Thank you for your love and your grace, Lord. I pray that you will continue to bless me and guide me on my journey. May I always be mindful of your presence in my life, and may I never forget the promise you made to your disciples so long ago.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.

Amen.

Verse: Turning to the disciples, he said privately,“Blessed are the eyes which see the things that you see,
Luke 10:23

This is a Promise. The verse is a statement of blessing for those who have the privilege of seeing the things that the disciples saw.
