Dear Lord Jesus, we come before you today with humble hearts, seeking your guidance and wisdom. We know that you have said that you are going away, and that we will seek you, but we will die in our sins. We pray that you will help us to turn away from our sins and follow you. We ask that you will guide us on the path that leads to eternal life, and that you will help us to overcome the temptations and trials that we face. We know that where you go, we cannot come, but we trust in your promise that you will prepare a place for us in your Father’s house. Help us to live our lives in a way that honors you, and to always seek your will above our own. In your holy name we pray, Amen.
Verse: Jesus said therefore again to them,“I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sins. Where I go, you can’t come.”

This is a Command: Seek. Jesus commands the readers to seek him.
