Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank you for the promise that you will always be with us, even when we are locked behind closed doors. Just as you appeared to your disciples after eight days, we pray that you will also come to us and bring us peace.

We claim the promise that you will never leave us nor forsake us, and we trust that you will always be in the midst of our lives. May your presence bring us comfort and strength, and may we always be reminded of your love and grace.

Thank you for being our Savior and our friend. We pray that we may always walk in your light and follow your ways. In your holy name we pray,

Amen.

John 20:26

This is a Promise. The promise is that Jesus brings peace to his disciples, even when they are afraid and the doors are locked.
