Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that you have spoken. You have said that of those whom you have given me, you have lost none. I thank you for your faithfulness and for your unfailing love towards me. I pray that you will continue to keep me safe and secure in your loving arms. Help me to trust in your promises and to have faith in your goodness. May your word be fulfilled in my life, and may I never be lost or separated from your love. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the assurance that I am forever yours. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is a fulfillment of Jesus’ promise that he would not lose any of those given to him by God.
