Dear Lord, I remember the word that you said to us, that a servant is not greater than his lord. I claim the promise that if they persecuted you, they will also persecute us. But I also claim the promise that if they kept your word, they will also keep ours. Help us to stand firm in our faith and to trust in your promises, even in the face of persecution. May we always remember that we are your servants and that you are our Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
