Dear Lord Jesus, just as Nathanael recognized you as the Son of God and King of Israel, I too confess that you are my Lord and Savior. I claim the promise that you are the Son of God and that you reign over all things. May your kingdom come and your will be done in my life as it is in heaven. Thank you for your love and grace that has saved me and made me a part of your kingdom. In your holy name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: Nathanael answered him, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are King of Israel!”
John 1:49

This is a Promise. The verse is a declaration by Nathanael that Jesus is the Son of God and King of Israel. There is no command given to the reader.
