Dear God, help me to love my life in a way that honors and glorifies you. May I not cling to the things of this world, but instead, may I hate my life in this world and seek to follow you wholeheartedly. Help me to let go of my own desires and ambitions and surrender them to you, knowing that in doing so, I will gain eternal life. Thank you for your love and grace. Amen.

Verse: He who loves his life will lose it. He who hates his life in this world will keep it to eternal life.
John 12:25
