Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that you have given us through the words of the high priest. I claim the promise that Jesus would die for the nation. I pray that this promise would be fulfilled in my life and in the lives of those around me. May we all come to know the love and sacrifice of Jesus and may it transform our hearts and minds. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the gift of salvation through your son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
