Prayer based on John 11:4. Themes: Glory, Sickness, Faith
Dear Lord, I come to you today claiming the promise in John 11:4. Just as Jesus declared that the sickness of Lazarus was not unto death but for the glory of God, I believe that every challenge and trial I face is for your glory. I pray that in the midst of my struggles, your Son may be glorified and that your power and love may be made known to all. Help me to trust in your plan and to have faith that you will work all things together for my good. Thank you for your promise and for your constant presence in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: But when Jesus heard it, he said,“This sickness is not to death, but for the glory of God, that God’s Son may be glorified by it.”
John 11:4
This is a Promise. The promise is that the sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, so that God’s Son may be glorified by it.
