Praying from James 4:15 relating to Providence, Humility, Trust

Dear Lord, I humbly come before you and acknowledge that my plans and desires are subject to your will. Help me to always remember that if it is your will, I will live and accomplish the things I have set out to do. May I never forget to seek your guidance and direction in all my plans and decisions. I surrender my life and my future to you, trusting that you have a perfect plan for me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: For you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.”
James 4:15

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to acknowledge the Lord’s will in their plans and actions.
