Dear God, please help me to rid my heart of any bitter jealousy and selfish ambition. May I not boast or lie against the truth, but instead seek to live a life of humility and honesty. Guide me in your ways and help me to always honor you in my thoughts and actions. Amen.

Verse: But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don’t boast and don’t lie against the truth.
James 3:14
