Praying from Hebrews 7:21 relating to Priesthood, Oath, Melchizedek
Lord, I thank you that you have made me a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek. You have sworn and will not change your mind. I claim this promise over my life and ministry. I pray that you would empower me to serve you faithfully as a priest, offering up spiritual sacrifices that are pleasing to you. May I always remember that my priesthood is not based on my own merit or ability, but on your unchanging promise. Thank you for calling me to this holy calling, and for equipping me to fulfill it. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Verse: ( for they indeed have been made priests without an oath), but he with an oath by him that says of him,“The Lord swore and will not change his mind,‘ You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.’”
