Praying from Hebrews 7:17 relating to Priesthood, Melchizedek, Forever

Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that you have testified, that I am a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek. I claim this promise today and ask that you would empower me to fulfill this calling. Help me to serve you faithfully and to minister to those around me with love and compassion. May my life be a reflection of your grace and mercy, and may I bring glory to your name in all that I do. Thank you for choosing me and equipping me for this task. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
