Praying from Ephesians 2:16 relating to Reconciliation, Unity, Atonement.
Dear God,
Thank you for the promise that you have reconciled us both in one body to you through the cross. We claim this promise and ask that you continue to work in our hearts to remove any hostility that may exist between us. Help us to love one another as you have loved us and to live in unity with each other. We trust in your power to bring healing and restoration to our relationships. Thank you for your grace and mercy.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, having killed the hostility through it.
Ephesians 2:16
This is a Promise. The verse is stating that through the cross, God reconciles both groups (Jews and Gentiles) and kills the hostility between them.
