Dear God, I come before you today and ask for your help in putting away all negative emotions and actions from my life. Please help me to let go of anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking. Fill me with your love and peace, so that I may speak words of kindness and encouragement to others. Help me to be a reflection of your grace and mercy in all that I do. Thank you for your forgiveness and for the strength to overcome these negative tendencies. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
