Praying from Colossians 2:19 relating to Unity, Growth, Christ as Head.

Dear Lord, help me to hold firmly to you as the Head of my life. May I never stray from your guidance and may I always seek your will. Thank you for supplying and knitting together my body with the joints and ligaments that allow me to grow with your growth. May I continue to grow in faith and love for you. Amen.

Verse: and not holding firmly to the Head, from whom all the body, being supplied and knit together through the joints and ligaments, grows with God’s growth.
Colossians 2:19

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to hold firmly to the Head (Jesus Christ) in order for the body (the church) to grow with God’s growth.
