Dear Lord,

As I come before you today, I claim the promise that you have given us through the story of Ananias and Saul. Just as Ananias laid his hands on Saul and he received his sight and was filled with the Holy Spirit, I pray that you would do the same for me.

Lord, I ask that you would open my eyes to see your truth and your will for my life. I pray that you would fill me with your Holy Spirit, empowering me to live a life that is pleasing to you and to be a witness for your kingdom.

Thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and your love. I trust in your promises and I know that you will never leave me nor forsake me. May your will be done in my life, and may I always seek to glorify you in all that I do.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: Ananias departed and entered into the house. Laying his hands on him, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord, who appeared to you on the road by which you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

This is a Promise. The promise is that Saul will receive his sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
