Prayer based on Acts 7:5. Themes: Promise, Inheritance, Offspring.

Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that you made to your servant. You promised to give him a possession, a land to call his own, and to his offspring after him. Though he had no child, you still made this promise to him. Lord, I believe that this promise is not just for him, but for me and my family as well. I claim this promise today, that you will give us a possession, a place to call our own, and that this inheritance will be passed down to our children and their children after them. Lord, I trust in your faithfulness and your goodness. I know that you will fulfill this promise in your perfect timing. Thank you for your love and your provision. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: He gave him no inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on. He promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his offspring after him, when he still had no child.
Acts 7:5

This is a Promise.

The verse is referring to God’s promise to give the land to Abraham and his descendants as a possession, even though at the time he had no child.
